Blackstar HT METAL 100 Amp Head

The Blackstar HT METAL 100 Amp Head is a bit of a monster. Perfect for heavy metal but also has lovely boutique style cleans. At 100 watts it is designed for the stage but you don't need to run it at ear bleeding levels. Blackstar Amps sound pretty good at lower volumes too.

The Blackstar HT METAL 100 is versatile

This stunning guitar amp head has two different modes. British Class A and Dynamic US. Basically this means it will handle pretty much any high gain sounds you wish to create. From classic old school to modern and technical. They both work neatly in conjunction with the Blackstar Amps ISF control. This is a dial that emphasise either the upper mids or the lower mids of the sound. It also lets you create your own unique sounds with the Blackstar HT METAL 100. It also has a clean voice switch. Depending on your settings this guitar amplifier cleans up pretty well.

A Guitar Amp Head packed with features

At a very reasonable cost, the Blackstar HT METAL 100 has bags of great features. Included with the amp head is a 4 way footswitch. This lets you easily switch between clean, OD1, OD2 and Reverb on/off. The enhanced tone controls lets you easily move from warm to bright. A very handy emulated output on the back of the amplifier produces stunning recording tones. Also on the back is an effects loop. Ideal if you are using lots of external pedals such as delays and modulation. One last point to mention. By connecting an optional footswitch, the FS-4, you can activate a boost. This works for all three channels.
