Blackstar HT-5RS Mini Amp Stack

The Blackstar HT5RS mini stack contains an HT-5RH guitar amp head with two HT-112 1x12 Blackstar voiced speaker cabinets. The Blackstar HT5RH is the standalone guitar amplifier head version of the HT-5R guitar combo amplifier. It's amp section is filled with all the amazing feature set of the HT5R combo. Coupled with two Blackstar Amps HT112 1x12" cabs it delivers an incredible punch and clarity for such a compact package. Take a trip from the UK all the way to the US! Blackstar Amplifier's own unique tone shaping system ISF (Infinite Shape Feature, patent applied for) gives you a single control to alter the response on the entire tone system in the HT5. At one end you have typical UK amp sound, at the other US amp tone, in between you can choose any blend between the two. Ground breaking features of the new HT-5 series guitar amps include a unique push-pull power amp stage design, individual tone control knob for the clean channel, incredibly useful Line Input socket allowing MP3 player etc to be played along with the guitar tone, perfect for practice use. They didn't throw the baby out with the bath water though and all the amazing original features of the previous HT5 range are still there ensuring a brilliantly enhanced package of features on the HT5RH The design brief for the new HT5 range was to make a compact and portable valve amp which could retain the finest tonal properties but even at the lowest possible output levels for practice or studio use. This required Blackstar to go back to basics and totally re-imagine and re-engineer the power amp stage. What they settled on was a push-pull structure which was low powered and with a low volume yet which displays all the overdrive, crunch and break-up characteristics of the more customary 100w power amp architecture. This clever trick was accomplished by using an 12BH7 dual triode valve in a push-pull arrangement outputting 5 watts (RMS) with a tone loaded with valve harmonics and natural valve compression. The HT-5RH has a full feature stereo speaker emulated output which has a few tricks up it's sleeve. With a cleverly designed voicing switch allowing the simulation of either 4x12" or 1x12" speaker characteristics you are really spoiled for choice when recording straight out of the amp or listening through headphones. The speaker emulator output can be used in conjunction with the external speaker output allowing various recording or live performance possibilities by blending both the speaker output and the speaker emulation output direct through a mixing console. The speaker out can be switched off for totally silent performance. The speaker output can also be switched between 16 Ohm and 8 Ohm rating allowing almost any speaker cabinet to be attached with full output being possible. The effect send and return circuit allows external effects to be incorporated into the amp sound prior to the output stage which gives the widest flexibility in finding the perfect sound for your performance. The stereo MP3/Line also allows you to plug in any MP3 player/CD Player and jam along to your favourite music, while benefiting from the HT5c's superb tone. The days of the honky sounding spring reverbs in proper valve amplifiers is now over as the HT-5RH comprises a specially developed Digital Reverb which raises the bar for reverbs in amps and is voiced for guitar and is extremely natural sounding. With musicality the primary concern, the reverb is equally as good with the pure clean sounds of the Clean Channel or the crunchy tones of the Overdrive Channel. The 'Dark/Bright' switch allows the player to tailor the tone of the reverb to suit their style and current amp settings
