Auden Neo Colton Cutaway - All-Solid Dreadnought with Cedar top and Mahogany Back / Sides

The Auden Neo Colton Cutaway is part of Auden's more accessible Neo range of guitars, which is no bad thing as the fundamentals are all in place. All-solid construction and outstanding build quality are Auden's hallmarks, having enabled the brand to quietly gather a faithful customer base over the past few years. Being a big-bodied dreadnought, the Colton projects with ease, responding well to flat-picking or rhythm styles. The Cedar top injects some lovely warmth into the tonal mix, complemented by the focus of the Mahogany back, sides and neck. The neck itself is joined to the body using Auden's Dovetail / Hide Glue joint. A cutaway facilitates east upper fret access.

In terms of appointments, maple binding adorns the body and Rosewood fretboard, while a bone nut and saddle ensure that every last vibration is eked out of the strings. The satin finish gives the guitar a restrained and classy aesthetic.

Hidden inside the Auden Neo Colton is a top quality Brad Clark SuperNatural AS preamp system. From his leading roles with prestigious guitar brands and working with artists such as Tommy Emmanuel and Jack Johnson, Brad’s innovative guitar pre-amps power some of the most acclaimed acoustic music performances of the modern era.

The SuperNatural Analogue system (AS) is side-mounted to the upper bout of the guitar allowing for ease of visibility and adjustability. The Analogue System features the same pre-amp as the Digital System, six individual under-saddle pole pieces and a face sensor that can also be found in the Digital System. The Analogue System has a bass, treble and a blend allowing the user to blend the face sensor in and out.
