The Auden Special Emily Rose in Tobacco Burst is an all-solid electro-acoustic Parlour guitar from this highly respected British luthier. With its all-solid construction comprising of a AAA Cedar top with Mahogany back and sides, this little Parlour has a lovely warm tone. Auden’s mastery of guitar design has resulted in a deeply impressive instrument, both acoustically and in terms of fit and finish. Despite its traditional looks, this guitar is fitted with possibly the most impressive new pickup technology we’ve experienced - the Brad Clark Supernatural system - which produces lush natural sound while remaining highly discreet and lightweight.

Auden Special Emily Rose Parlour Electro-Acoustic in Tobacco Burst
The Auden Emily Rose Tobacco Burst is a beautifully proportioned parlour guitar, benefitting from all-solid construction and a slightly deeper body. The result is a level of resonance and volume which belies the guitar's size. With a traditional dovetail neck joint, all the tonewoods work together in unison. The AAA Solid Cedar top provides a warm fundamental, with precision and low-end oomph contributed by the solid mahogany back, sides and neck. The ebony fretboard is elegantly inlayed with small dots, while a bone nut and saddle ensure all string vibrations are transferred optimally into the soundbox. Schertler open-gear tuners operate with silky precision, ranking among the best we've ever used.
Brad Clark Supernatural Pre-amp
The Auden Emily Rose Parlor is powered by the Brad Clark Supernatural Pre-amp, an all-new system has left us highly impressed here at Merchant City Music. The Supernatural comprises two sensors: 1) Super Discrete Power bridge sensor (SDP) and 2) the Supernatural face sensor (FS). These are inputted into a programmable preamplifier. The sounds are “tuned” by professional musicians and pre-stored into the chip. There are four presets of sounds to suit most guitars, scenarios and styles. This system claims to provide unprecedented realism and flexibility, and, having experienced it, we’d have to agree! It is also incredibly lightweight, and does not compromise the guitar’s acoustic performance.
