The CAP pickups are not super high output and are fairly balanced. It means they will pretty much handle anything you can throw at them. They do really perform to their best though with a bit of drive in the the signal. As with all of the Ibanez Premium models the Ibanez RG721LRW one has been crafted in Indonesia to a very high standard. The amazing fret work is reminiscent of the Ibanez J Custom guitars but at a fraction of the price.
