This wicked little acoustic guitar has a pretty distinctive sound hole. It takes its inspiration from the heart shaped design featured on the Alkaline Trio's acoustic album Damnesia. The Fender Alkaline Trio Malibu has a smaller body than your traditional dreadnought. This makes it particularly comfortable to play. Particularly for smaller folk who struggle with big guitars. Another distinctive feature is the all mahogany body. It delivers a lovely rich tone. The tone is aided by the Scalloped X Bracing. Another stand-out feature of the Fender Alkaline Trio Malibu acoustic is the neck. A C shaped Stratocaster neck is very comfortable to play. It features a walnut fretboard and twenty frets.
